BAGUIO CITY- Camp John Hay Golf Club (CJHGC) sustained its superiority, after three rounds it posted a total 289 points and close in making history as the first team to be crowned champion in the Super Senior Division of the 69th Fil-Am Invitational.
City Mayor Mauricio Domogan and Park Jong Won were consistent in igniting CJHGC attack, on Tuesday, combined 57 points at the short but tricky Baguio Country Club (BCC) course en route to a descent 94 points third round output.
Also scoring for CJHGC were Carlos Nano and Jun Tolete,who contributed 19 and 18 points, respectively.
Golf F-Veterans is in second spot with 223 (74-77-72) while Team Hollywood II in third position with 175 (58-68-49). Residences at Brent at the cellar with 172 (60-59-53).
The Super Senior Division will have its rest day tomorrow (Dec.5) and will resume its final round on Dec. 6.
Meanwhile, action in the premiere senior Championship Flights of both FIL and Am Divisions will resume on Wednesday (Dec.5) with Luisita Golf & Country Club Championship teams are leading the competition.
Leading teams midway into the third round are: FIL C Flight- Mighty Sandigans 238 (81-80-77), Ropah-Isabela GC 229 (77-82-72), EagleMasters 228 (83-83-62) and Guam Kool Swingers 227 (82-73-72); AM C Flight- Baguio Country Club 264 (97-77-90), Davao EagleMasters 249 (83-83-83) and Hillsiders of Baguio 245 (72-82-91).
